For six years, Kevin DiOssi has captured fleeting moments in time during the NMRA Ford Nationals and NMCA Muscle Car Nationals as the lead photographer. His images have told countless stories from the human emotion of competition to the powerful and dynamic machines that take center stage during an event. Presented here is a stack of his favorite photos, some you've seen in digital and print, while others are being revealed for the first time. Each one was captured using Canon hardware combined with a deep passion for the sport. DiOssi's history in the art of photography stretches back to 2006, when he was just 18 years old, and began contributing to Hot Rod Magazine's website. By 2007, he shot his first cover for Vette Magazine, a newsstand-distributed magazine, and had joined the full-time staff at Primedia Publishing working on High Performance Pontiac and Mopar Muscle magazines. Over the course of four years, he worked side-by-side with the industry's greatest content producers and fine-tuned his skills before setting off on the freelance trail in 2011. The next decade not only brought him to the guardrails at NMRA and NMCA events, but also as lead photographer for professional racing teams that compete at IMSA, King of the Hammers, and NASCAR. Through the years, DiOssi has held contracts with Mopar, Ford Performance, and other high-performance manufacturers. Currently, he is one of the featured photographers with the Performance Racing Industry's world-famous Road Tour and content team, as well as a renowned commercial photographer outside of motorsports. We look forward to having DiOssi on the NMRA/NMCA team in 2022. Here is a look back at his favorite images of 2021.
