Enthusiasm abounds at the 2021 Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show as performance-minded people are here surveying new products and impressive race cars of all sorts, including Mark Woodruff's Pro Mod Camaro. As mentioned earlier today on Race Pages Digital, Harts Turbo is breaking into the supercharger market with its own centrifugal supercharger. You can read more about it HERE. Weld Racing continues to kick out the beautiful wheels it has been known for and the latest addition to its lineup is the RT-S S80 beadlock wheel. The new hoops are designed for hot rods and street machines are are capable of handling 1,200 hp and 1,580 lb-ft of torque. Because you can never have enough horsepower, Stainless Works now offers long-tube headers for the 2021 Ram 6.2-liter TRX pickup truck. The mandrel-bent stainless features 1 7/8-inch primary tubes and TIG welding for optimum performance and strength. New for the Fox-Body Mustang market is Auto Meter's InVision instrument cluster. The cluster is designed for 1987-93 Ford Mustangs and features the latest LED technology for an updated look and more accurate performance. NHRA Top Fuel Funny Car driver Cruz Pedregon was at the Race Star Wheels boost signing autographs for fans, and talking about the new Race Star Wheels for Funny Cars. The company continues to expand its product lines and has several new products at the show. Cleetus McFarland's Ruby Corvette is here for everyone to check out, with the turbocharged car recently getting a new bullet to get it back on the track. VP Racing Lubricants Xtreme Pro Mod driver Craig Sullivan has his supercharger El Mero Mero Mercury Here in the Larry Jeffers Race Cars booth. The LJRC-built machine was quite successful in its debut season, with wins at Martin, Michigan, and Lucas Oil Raceway Indianapolis. Billet Specialties is debuting its new American Muscle line of wheels. The polished hoops feature forged construction and off-the-shelf fitments for numerous muscle cars. Since the C8 Corvette debuted, the platform has become increasingly popular, with custom twin-turbo systems pushing the cars to new limits. FuelTech's C8 currently owns the quarter-mile record with an 8.97 at 160 mph. In addition to auto journalists looking for new products, many racers attend the PRI Show to find the new products as well, and perhaps talk about solutions for issues they are having with their racing programs. While patrolling the Meziere Enterprises booth, we found Dart NA 10.5 Â racer Tony Petrovski chatting it up with Don Meziere. Word on the street is that Petrovski is looking for a different starter motor, but was also talking about a recent water pump they changed to and the success they had with it.
