The Red Line Oil NMCA Muscle Car Nationals featured wild action at Rockingham Dragway for the Scoggin Dickey Parts Center NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals Presented by MAHLE Motorsport and there were plenty of HEMI rides on the property. There are several categories where the Gen III HEMI muscle cars are competitive and the top of the foodchain is the Holley EFI Factory Super Cars with the baddest OEM drag race vehicle off the showroom floor, the 2021 Dodge Challenger Mopar Drag Pak. Several of the biggest names in the Drak Pak community were on hand runnning deep into 7s at speeds approaching 180 mph.
One of the most popular categories is the Dodge//Mopar HEMI Shootout and it offers up to 75 complimentary entries to all NMCA competitions in 2022. The HEMI Shootout feeds into the heads-up HHP Racing HEMI Quick 8 on Sunday, a fun and spirited competition to see who is the king of the hill in the street car class. Beyond these classes the HEMI muscle cars were represented in categories such as Stock Eliminator and Super Stock Eliminator, TorqStorm Superchargers True Street, and bracket racing.
