Last year ATI Performance Products began shipping its SFI Certified T350 SuperCase to fill a void in the market as cars get quicker and faster. The TH350 SuperCase meets SFI 4.1 spec, which eliminates the need for cumbersome and tight fitting transmission shields or blankets. The aluminum casting is made from 356-T6 aluminum and the case has increased thickness in the extension housing and bell flange to help with durability. The valvebody passages are CNC-machined to aid in quick fast transbrake release and quicker shift times. ATI didn’t stop there as they added roller bearings for the output shaft and it can be machined to accept a TH400 output shaft. As power increases are getting easier, or so it seems, ATI added stronger internal lugs and more material to allow room for more clutches. Band adjuster material is cast in place for customers using non-GM internal components and ATI retained the OEM governor cavity for auto-shift applications. Finally, custom valvebody passages can be made to order for builders with specific requirements. The SuperCase is proudly cast in America and machined in-house at ATI Performance Products.
