Over in the Chevrolet Performance booth, it’s time to LS all the things. On display front and center is the brand spankin’ new Hot Wheels 50th Anniversary Edition 2018 COPO Camaro, bathed in the exclusive beautiful Supercrush paint hue. The highly-anticipated car comes equipped with an all-new 302 Gen V small block engine that’s based on the LT1 found in the ’18 Camaro SS, but is instead a purpose-built drag racing version featuring unique components and a shorter-stroke cam that lets it rev to exceptionally high levels. The car comes with either a naturally aspirated 427 ci or supercharged 350 ci engine, and all COPOs come with an SFI-approved ATI TH400 three-speed automatic.

Chevy is making it easy to get an effective combination with their “Connect and Cruise” crate powertrain system. Chevy’s engineers did all the work designing, calibrating, and concocting the perfect combination of engines and transmissions, torque converters, and controllers, to ensure quick installation without the need for third-party tuning. Each system includes a brand new, fully-assembled LT376/535 535 horsepower Gen V small block V8 crate engine, automatic or manual transmission, instructions, and all sensors, accessories, and fittings necessary for installation.

A sea of LS- and LT- based engines are on display to tempt and inspire onlookers. From the popular LS7 to the LT4, the “boost on a budget” LSX376-B8 and the purpose-built DR525 drag racing beast, no matter the desired intention or the horsepower required, Chevy’s got a something for everyone.

The Camaro has inspired generations of racers, and this innovative 2018 Camaro 2SS display lets enthusiasts check out what’s going on underneath without having to stretch or strain. Chevy is committed to pushing the limits of power and performance, and the Chevrolet Performance Parts lineup of accessories, including braking and suspension components, can improve performance and responsiveness.

Rounding out the performance parts options are these great LS and LT upgrade kits, including heads and cams that can ramp up the power over stock levels to something a lot more fun.
