The news is official! Real Deal Steel, the Florida-based manufacturer of numerous steel chassis such as the 1955-57 Chevys and 1967-69 Camaro’s, will begin production of all-new-steel second-generation (1970-1973) Camaro bodies later this year. The prototype is almost complete and one of the new GM-licensed Camaro bodies will be on display at the company’s booth at the 2019 SEMA Show in Las Vegas in November.
Far fewer 1970-1973 bodies were manufactured compared to the 1967-1969 models and with Gen 2 Camaros continuing to grow in popularity, affordable cars in decent shape are getting harder to find. For more information, visit www.realdealsteel.com.
