It was only a matter of time that someone broke into the 3.50 zone on a radial tire. We’ve seen numerous passes in the mid 3.60s over the last few months, and thanks to some favorable spring weather, a sticky track, and a whole lot of horsepower, Kevin Rivenbark was able to break that barrier, running 3.58 seconds at 206.67 mph during the Sweet 16 race at South Georgia Motorsports Park.

Rivenbark’s Camaro runs on a FuelTech engine management system and uses a ProCharger supercharger for power, and his stupendous elapsed time also sets the record for the quickest ProCharger-powered door car as well.
