SEMA 2018—ProCharger Wins, QA1 Scores Awards for SEMA New Products

ProCharger picked up another SEMA New Product award in the Performance-Racing Product segment, this time for its CrankDrive™ Supercharger Gear Drive unit.

The ProCharger CrankDrive provides a complete package to mount the ProCharger to the front of race engines, directly driving ProCharger F-series Supercharger models off of the crankshaft via gears. Made out of billet aluminum for strength and weight savings and engineered to support racing engine power levels from 1500hp to in excess of 3500hp+.

QA1 finished runner-up with two of its new products, the recently announced MOD Series shock that offers a significant number of benefits, click HERE to read about it. Their carbon fiber sway bars, which is an expansion from its carbon fiber driveshaft product line, was also recognized.

The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) announced its Best New Products Award winners this morning at the 2018 SEMA Show. These awards are given to the most innovative and cutting-edge automotive aftermarket products that will be consumable in 2019.

SEMA’s annual New Product Awards competition recognizes outstanding achievements in the development of products being introduced to the automotive specialty-equipment market at the SEMA Show. Products are judged in 16 award categories, and each category has one winner and two runners-up.

Nearly 3,000 products were entered into the 16 different Showcase categories to be considered for a SEMA New Product Awards this year. Winners were selected based on a variety of factors that included superiority of innovation, technical achievement, quality and workmanship, consumer appeal and marketability, and more.
